Promote your site to your relatives. If you have Google+, promote what you want to share with them. Just make sure that you have written more than one article. This is to keep them longer on your site.
The time a reader spends on your site counts a lot. If your readers are spending a longer time on your site, it means that your site is worth reading.
Promote your site to your friends. If you connect with your friends through Twitter, let them know what you are writing. At this point, it would be good if you have written more than 10 posts. This is to give your friends an impression that you have plenty of ideas.
You can also promote your site to people you still are not acquainted with like the friends of your friends. But before you do that, make sure that you have written more than 20 posts to make your site look sound, serious, and real.
There are other ways to promote your site. In the meantime, use social media sites because it is free.
The next step is endless — write, promote, write, promote.... Do this on a regular basis consistently.
